6 tsp of Ching's Chili Paneer mix 2 cups warm water (600 ml) 1 ladle vegetable oil 1 Tbsp Costco minced garlic (optional) 1 large red onion - minced 2 green bell pepper - chopped 2 large fat jalepenos (or 4 thin green LeeLee chilies) - minced 2 level tsp salt 2 x 16 oz extra firm Azimoya (safeway) tofu, diced or 3 x 12.5 oz Costco tofu packets
Steps
Mix a) - b) in a small bowl and keep aside. Heat oil on HI and fry the minced garlic, if using. Add onions, bell pepper, chilies and cook until onions begin to brown and the bell pepper is half-cooked - MED-HI Add salt and stir well - MED-HI Add the tofu and continue to fry for a few more minutes - MED-HI Add the mix from step 1 and bring to a gentle boil stirring gently. Lower heat and simmer for 10-15 minutes - MED-LO
