Ingredients
2 cups roasted sooji 2 dried red chillies 2 long (or 3 short) sprigs curry leaves 2 tsp black mustard seeds 2 Tbsp urad dal 1 medium onion - minced 6-8 thai chilies - minced 2 tsp salt 4 cups boiling water
Steps
Heat up sooji for 2-3 minutes on MED-HI until it feels hot to the touch - keep aside. Heat oil and fry dried red chillis and mustard seeds - HI When mustard seeds sputter, add curry leaves and urad dal and fry - MED-HI When urad dal browns, add onions, green chillies and fry - MED-HI Add salt amd mix well Add water and bring to a boil for 1-2 minutes Slowly stir in sooji in a thin stream, mixing all the time. Shut off heat and continue to mix until it the mixture is no longer wet. Spread on a plate for rapid cooling.
