Geethu's Kitchen - Unni's Instant Pot Pulao

Ingredients

  1. One large Bowl
  2. 2(3) Cups Rice Washed

  3. Mixed Vegetables, 32 oz/1 lb

  4. One Medium small bowl
  5. 2(3) Bay leaves
  6. 3 (4)sticks Dalcheeni - Dalchini - Cinnamon
  7. 2(3) Cardomoms

  8. One Medium small bowl
  9. 2 (3) tsp Cumin seeds

  10. One medium bowl
  11. 2(3) medium Jalapenos (coarsely diced)

  12. One medium bowl
  13. 1/4 (1/2) tsp Turmeric
  14. 1/2 tsp (1)Chilli powder

  15. One Small Bowl
  16. 1 (1 1/2) tsp Kitchen King Masala

  17. One small Bowl
  18. 1 1/2 tsp (2) Salt

  19. 1 (1 1/2) tsp ginger-garlic paste

  20. 4 Tbsp oil

Method:

  1. Heat oil
  2. and fry
  3. Cummin seeds,
  4. Bay leafs,
  5. Cardamon
  6. Dalcheeni - Dalchini - Cinnamon

  7. Add jalapenos
  8. and fry well

  9. Add
  10. veggies,
  11. 1(1 1/2) tsp ginger-garlic paste
  12. and fry well for 4-5 minutes

  13. Add Rice
  14. and fry to mix well

  15. Add
  16. chilli powder,
  17. turmeric
  18. and fry some more

  19. Add
  20. 1 (1 1/2) tsp Kitchen King Masala

  21. Add
  22. 2 1/2 (3 to 3.5) cups water,
  23. Add 1 1/2 (2) tsp salt to water



  24. Press CANCEL,
  25. then Pressure Cook on HIGH for 6 minutes,
  26. with delayed Start of 30 minutes
  27. let release naturally
