Geethu's Kitchen - Unni's Instant Pot Pulao
Ingredients
- One large Bowl
- 2(3) Cups Rice Washed
- Mixed Vegetables, 32 oz/1 lb
- One Medium small bowl
- 2(3) Bay leaves
- 3 (4)sticks Dalcheeni - Dalchini - Cinnamon
- 2(3) Cardomoms
- One Medium small bowl
- 2 (3) tsp Cumin seeds
- One medium bowl
- 2(3) medium Jalapenos (coarsely diced)
- One medium bowl
- 1/4 (1/2) tsp Turmeric
- 1/2 tsp (1)Chilli powder
- One Small Bowl
- 1 (1 1/2) tsp Kitchen King Masala
- One small Bowl
- 1 1/2 tsp (2) Salt
- 1 (1 1/2) tsp ginger-garlic paste
- 4 Tbsp oil
Method:
- Heat oil
- and fry
- Cummin seeds,
- Bay leafs,
- Cardamon
- Dalcheeni - Dalchini - Cinnamon
- Add jalapenos
- and fry well
- Add
- veggies,
- 1(1 1/2) tsp ginger-garlic paste
- and fry well for 4-5 minutes
- Add Rice
- and fry to mix well
- Add
- chilli powder,
- turmeric
- and fry some more
- Add
- 1 (1 1/2) tsp Kitchen King Masala
- Add
- 2 1/2 (3 to 3.5) cups water,
- Add 1 1/2 (2) tsp salt to water
- Press CANCEL,
- then Pressure Cook on HIGH for 6 minutes,
- with delayed Start of 30 minutes
- let release naturally
