Geethu's Kitchen - Unni's Dhokla using Dhokla mix in Instant Pot
Ingredients
- 1 Pkt Dhokla Mix 500 gm (makes about 30 Dhoklas)
- 1 tsp oil
- 2 tsp Mustard Seeds
- 1 Jalapeno (chopped length wise)
Method:
- Take Pillsbury Dhokla mix
- Measure with Cup
- and pour into wide and deep vessel
- For 1 Cup of Dhokla mix,
- add 1/2 cup water
- Take Trivette and Pan
- Pour 1/2 spoon oil in Pan
- spread with hand
- Pour in Dhokla Mix
- Stir well with steel spoon
- In Instant Pot
- Saute Mode
- pour two cups water
- wait for it to Steam
- Cancel
- Pour Dhokla Mix in Pan
- place in Trivet
- Place in Instant Pot
- Pressure cook on high 15 minutes
- NPR after 10 minutes
- Use kitchen mutts to carefully lift the pan out
- Place upside down on plate and tap to let out the Dhokla
- Place two tsp water over the Dhokla
- Tadka
- 1 tsp oil
- 2 tsp Mustard Seeds
- 1 Jalapeno (chopped length wise)
- Pour over Dhokla
- Cut into small pieces
