Geethu's Kitchen - Paru's Chings Chilli Paneer
Ingredients
- 6 tsp of Ching's Chili Paneer mix
- 2 cups warm water (600 ml)
- 1 ladle vegetable oil
- 1 Tbsp Costco minced garlic (optional)
- 1 large red onion - minced
- 2 green bell pepper - chopped
- 2 large fat jalepenos (or 4 thin green LeeLee chilies) - minced
- 2 level tsp salt
- 2 x 16 oz extra firm Azimoya (safeway) tofu, diced or 3 x 12.5 oz Costco tofu packets
Method:
- Mix a) - b) in a small bowl and keep aside.
- Heat oil on HI and fry the minced garlic, if using.
- Add onions, bell pepper, chilies and cook until onions begin to brown and the bell pepper is half-cooked - MED-HI
- Add salt and stir well - MED-HI
- Add the tofu and continue to fry for a few more minutes - MED-HI
- Add the mix from step 1 and bring to a gentle boil stirring gently.
- Lower heat and simmer for 10-15 minutes - MED-LO
