Geethu's Kitchen - Paru's Arrabbiata

Ingredients

  1. 1 lb penne pasta
  2. 1 cup pasta water
  3. 1 ladle oil
  4. 3 Tbsp red pepper flakes
  5. 2 Tbsp heaped Costco garlic
  6. 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  7. 2 cans diced tomatoes
  8. 10 large basil leaves, minced
  9. 5 large basil leaves for garnish
  10. 3 Tbsp grated Parmesan cheese

Method:

  1. Heat oil and fry red pepper flakes
  2. Add garlic and fry some more
  3. Add italian seasoning and mix
  4. Add dice tomatoes and cook for 5 minutes, adding the minced basil after tomatoes start cooking
  5. Add cooked pasta, pasta water (as needed) and cook for 10 minutes on LO
  6. Garnish with basil and Parmesan and mix well
