Geethu's Kitchen - Geethu's Tofu bhujia
Ingredients
- 3 pkts firm tofu
- 3/4 large onion
- 3-4 medium Roma tomatoes
- 3/4 cup frozen peas
- 2 colored bell peppers
- 13 Thai green chillis, chopped
- 4 - 5 tbsp chopped ginger
- 1 tsp (3 - 4 large cloves) chopped garlic
- 2 tsp jeera
- Chopped cilantro
- 1tsp rock salt + 1.5 tsp salt
- 3/4 tsp haldi
- 1/2 tsp jeera powder
- 1 tsp dhania powder
- 1/2 tsp curry powder
- 1 full (not heaped) tsp paav bhaji masala
- 1 tsp aamchur
- 1/4 tsp pepper powder
- 1 tsp kalonji
- 1.5 tbsp ketchup
Method:
- One large ladle oil. After oil is hot, add jeera + 1/8 tsp hing
- Chopped green chilli + chopped ginger + chopped garlic (if raw)
- Add chopped onion. After pinkish-brown, add bell pepper. After frying for a few minutes,
- add haldi, dhania powder, curry powder.
- After frying for a few minutes, add aamchur, pepper, garlic(if not raw), jeera powder, pav bhaji masala
- Peas
- Kalonji
- Chopped tomatoes. Salt + rock salt
- Cook till you have a mushy mixture
- Tofu
- Cilantro
- Ketchup
