Geethu's Kitchen - Geethu's Tofu bhujia

Ingredients

  1. 2 pkts firm tofu (3 pkts)
  2. 1 medium onion (1 large)
  3. 2 medium Roma tomatoes (3 medium)
  4. 3/4 cup frozen peas (1 cup)
  5. I.5 large red bell pepper (2 colored)
  6. 8 medium size thai green chillis (10)
  7. 2 - 3 tbsp chopped ginger (4-5 tbsp)
  8. 1 tsp chopped garlic (1 full tsp)
  9. 1.5 tsp jeera (2 tsp)
  10. Chopped cilantro

  11. 1/2 tsp rock salt + 1 tsp salt (1tsp rock salt + 1.5 tsp salt)
  12. 1/2 tsp haldi (3/4 tsp)
  13. 1/2 tsp jeera powder (3/4 tsp)
  14. 3/4 tsp dhania powder (1 tsp)
  15. 1 full tsp paav bhaji masala (1 full tsp + 1/2 tsp)
  16. 1/2 tsp aamchur (1 tsp)
  17. 1/2 tsp pepper powder (3/4 tsp)
  18. 1 tsp kalonji (1.5 tsp)
  19. I tsp kasuri methi
  20. 1 tbsp ketchup (1.5 tbsp)

Method:

  1. One large ladle oil. After oil is hot, add jeera + 1/8 tsp hing
  2. Chopped green chilli + chopped ginger
  3. Add chopped onion. After pinkish-brown, add haldi, dhania powder, garlic and chopped bell pepper
  4. Peas
  5. Masalas
  6. Tofu
  7. Kalongi + pepper + kasuri methi
  8. Chopped tomatoes
  9. Cilantro
  10. Ketchup
