Geethu's Kitchen - Geethu's Broccoli subzi
Ingredients
- 2 pkts ( out of 4 pkts) of Costco broccoli florets
- 1.5 tsp jeera
- 1/4 tsp hing
- 1 large onion
- 2-3 tbsps chopped ginger
- 4-5 large garlic pods, chopped
- 1 Serrano pepper, chopped fine
- 1-2 Roma tomatos, chopped
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp haldi powder
- 1 tsp deggi mirch
- 1 tsp aamchur
- 1 tsp bhania powder
- 1/2 tsp garam masala
Method:
- To hot oil, add jeera followed by hing
- Stir for a minute, then add chopped ginger, garlic and green chilli
- After a couple of minutes, add chopped onions. Fry until pale pink/brown before adding haldi and deggi mirch powders
- Stir till well-fried, then add remaining masalas,
- After well-mixed, add broccoli florets.
- Once florets are half-cooked, add chopped tomatos
- Continue to stir until florets are well-cooked.
- Sprinkle garam masala
