Lay parchment paper on large steel plate and brush with oil. Drop 1 Tbsp batter in 6 x 3 grid - make hole in center
AIR FRY at 375° for 5 min in n batches
Brush all half-fried vadas with oil and AIR FRY at 375 for 8 min.
Bajji - Pakoras
Base Batter: In a large mixing bowl, make the batter of 2 cups besan, 1/4 cup rice flour, 1/2 tsp haldi, 1 tsp chilli powder, 1/2 tsp cumin, 1/2 tsp dhania,1 tsp salt. a time and mix well each time with a fork. Add 3/4 cup water, 1/4 cup at a time. Add 1/2 tsp baking soda just before air-frying and mix well - you should have a thick, non-runny batter
Frying: Place parchment paper on steel plates and lighlty brush with oil. place loosely formed flat discs of the pakora batter spaced well apart. place parchment paper gently on air fryer basket.
2 medium potato (grated long into a bowl of water), 1.5 large onion (thinly sliced long), N chillies (chopped)
Add the potatoes (squeezed to remove water), onions, chilies into the batter and mix with your hands. Air fry for 12 minutes at 350°F
After 12 minutes increase the temperature to 400°F. Brush again with oil and cook for a further 4 -6 minutes till your onion bhajis are golden brown in color and crispy.
Potato: (based on this): thinly slice peeled potatoes in circles. Air fry for nn minutes at 380°F
1 lbs Brussel Sprouts (1/2 Costco packet), halved (large ones x 3) (Cut 2 lb bag into 2 blue bowls)
For crispy outside and more tender inside, soak the cut sprouts in water for 10 minutes prior to air frying them.
Mix with 2 Tbsp EVVO + 1 tsp salt and air-fry for 5 minutes at 400°F
Toss and air-fry for 5 minutes more
Add 1 Tbsp minced Costco Garlic + 1 Tbsp oil and mix well
Air-fry for 4 minutes more
Drizzle with 1 Tbsp lemon juice + 1 Tbsp soy sauce
NOTE: Line Ninja air fry basket with 2 sheets of foil (slide in w/ foil tucked in back/front, NOT sides). When mixing, bring all sprouts to center and after mixing spread them back out
